The Grand Budapest Hotel

Stories Change Us.

And even if they’re stories about loss, I still believe they change us for the better.

Narratives within narratives are the core of the Grand Budapest Hotel. It’s a marvelous tale that is passed down through generations, creating layers of reveries. It’s a tragic story of a bygone era, yet it has an enchanting, mesmerizing effect. Perhaps that’s because there’s an infectious idealism in the characters that we all hang on to, even as the paint chips away.

This series combines the different time periods in which the story of the Grand Budapest is told, blending the colors and creating what might have happened somewhere in the middle.
